Augusto Vander hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Juventudes Libertárias's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Udrişte came free, but Mauro Eliazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Augusto Vander fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juventudes Libertárias's protests and gave Augusto Vander a yellow card for diving instead. Mauro Eliazar stood somewhat misplaced when Bogdan Udrişte came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Udrişte in the 28th minute of play forced Juventudes Libertárias's goalkeeper Mauro Eliazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugen Lupea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 34 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Puiu. If Waldir Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 37 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Puiu. Bogdan Udrişte in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mauro Eliazar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bogdan Udrişte in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Eliazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nildo Pereira struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Marcel Chiriță didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventudes Libertárias.

Bogdan Udrişte scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Eliazar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvestre Noe hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Lupea in the 61st minute of play forced Juventudes Libertárias's goalkeeper Mauro Eliazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Juventudes Libertárias defense, Victor Huștiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauro Eliazar. The Juventudes Libertárias fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro Eliazar should have stopped the shot. Silvestre Noe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Chiriță having to interfere. In the 84th minute Victor Huștiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Eliazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Eliazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Lupea, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. A collision led to ASF BAIA MARE -MM- getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Dacian Puiu hit a great ball. Alexsandro Simão might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcel Chiriță. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexsandro Simão ran back to his position shaking his head. ASF BAIA MARE -MM- walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
