But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelis Goorts couldn't finish the play. Bacardi FC's Ricky Van Dock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Segio in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Segio in the 19th minute of play forced Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Ricky Van Dock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Isidoro Dolfos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Maurice Vissenakens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Isidoro Dolfos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guido Bautista might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricky Van Dock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Bautista ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the match, Guido Bautista notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bacardi FC's Ricky Van Dock. Ricky Van Dock was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With 36 minutes on the clock, Pierre Gebuers commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bacardi FC! An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Segio in the 41st minute of play forced Bacardi FC's goalkeeper Ricky Van Dock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Bautista in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricky Van Dock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cornelis Goorts made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Club Almirante Brown got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Truylos. Cornelis Goorts kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Segio in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricky Van Dock saved Bacardi FC from getting behind. Guido Bautista's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Ricky Van Dock skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Bautista got free with Ricky Van Dock in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute Wilfredo Segio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricky Van Dock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes Bacardi FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicanor Ceandro who took care of the corner kick. Ariando Vacas kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Bacardi FC's Ricky Van Dock got control of the ball when Aldo Asier tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute, Guido Bautista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricky Van Dock was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. In the 79th minute, Guido Bautista made a precise shot to the right of Ricky Van Dock. Bacardi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. In the 86th minute, Cornelis Goorts made a precise shot to the right of Isidoro Dolfos. Club Almirante Brown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. In the 89th play minute Guido Bautista came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ricky Van Dock. 2-6. Ricky Van Dock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Segio, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Ricky Van Dock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Segio in the 92nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Bautista got free with Ricky Van Dock in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricky Van Dock made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Guido Bautista sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Almirante Brown walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
