The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The corner led to C.A.M.P's Karl-Michael Melander getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. C.A.M.P were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Juventudes Libertárias's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cleto Pasqual took the corner. If Nildo Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Eliazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Melander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 67 minutes into the match, Juventudes Libertárias's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Michael Melander came free, but Mauro Eliazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Juventudes Libertárias's goalkeeper Mauro Eliazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Michael Melander. Mauro Eliazar was a little too slow when Karl-Michael Melander got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 1-1. Nildo Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Juventudes Libertárias's zone, Karl-Michael Melander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Eliazar came out of the goal and Karl-Michael Melander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Michael Melander got free with Mauro Eliazar in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the game, Noel Valle threw the ball into play from the sideline. C.A.M.P's Roris Galantia quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Nildo Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Michael Melander in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Eliazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Juventudes Libertárias's Mauro Eliazar got control of the ball when Jun Osborne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Michael Melander in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Eliazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl-Michael Melander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juventudes Libertárias's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Karl-Michael Melander scored to the left of an out of position Mauro Eliazar, making the score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Michael Melander in the 93rd minute of play forced Juventudes Libertárias's goalkeeper Mauro Eliazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute of the match C.A.M.P got a corner. Juventudes Libertárias's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cleto Pasqual ran over to the corner to take the kick. The C.A.M.P supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.A.M.P would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
