Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thomás Loureiro started the match with the kick off. A collision led to E. C. Flamengo Paraibano getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Váldson Queirós hit a great ball. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Mané Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petre Ciolofan in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to E. C. Flamengo Paraibano getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jorginho Lago hit a great ball. When Cássio Dracena came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Club 23 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Dracena couldn't finish the play. A collision led to E. C. Flamengo Paraibano getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Váldson Queirós hit a great ball. Mané Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Druțu Daniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomás Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Petre Ciolofan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club 23's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E. C. Flamengo Paraibano the free kick. In the 25th minute, Petre Ciolofan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Thomás Loureiro got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th match minute, Club 23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Robescu to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Albin Anundsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sören Malmberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardinho Vaz during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club 23 booed when E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardinho Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petre Ciolofan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Cássio Dracena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mané Barreto was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cássio Dracena made a kick off. When Petre Ciolofan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 52 minutes had been played. In the 53rd minute, Petre Ciolofan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 played minutes E. C. Flamengo Paraibano got a freekick which was hit by Albin Anundsson. Emanuel Robescu's late challenge caught a E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Robescu helped the player get up and apologised. Emanuel Robescu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Sören Malmberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 57th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Thomás Loureiro. A collision led to Club 23 getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Cássio Dracena hit a great ball. Cássio Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Barreto having to interfere. Sören Malmberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albin Anundsson in the 72nd minute. In the 78th minute, Doru Ciuvică made a precise shot to the right of Mané Barreto. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 83rd match minute, Club 23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Dracena to maneuver through the defense. Sören Malmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Kajdasz in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club 23's Golo Gana got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute Albin Anundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Malmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorginho Lago during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, E. C. In the 92nd minute of the match Golo Gana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mané Barreto skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's zone, Cássio Dracena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mané Barreto came out of the goal and Cássio Dracena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
