Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Inácio Silveira got the match started through his kick off. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Mané Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurice Vissenakens in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Jonas Decorte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Maurice Vissenakens notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Mané Barreto. Mané Barreto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Cornelis Goorts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mané Barreto was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Mané Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurice Vissenakens in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Cornelis Goorts had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Váldson Queirós during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bacardi FC made a substitution. Robbe Winnepennincks replaced Cornelis Goorts. After a rather tough play, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Váldson Queirós got a free kick in the 24th minute. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Albin Anundsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ricky Van Dock to make any attempt to save it. Mané Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbe Winnepennincks, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albin Anundsson got free with Ricky Van Dock in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mané Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurice Vissenakens in the 34th minute of the match. Ricky Van Dock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. A collision led to E. C. Flamengo Paraibano getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Zdzislaw Kajdasz hit a great ball. Maurice Vissenakens was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
53 minutes into the game, Zdzislaw Kajdasz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bacardi FC the free kick. The goalkeeper, Mané Barreto, was totally fooled by Bacardi FC's Maurice Vissenakens, who 54 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Robbe Winnepennincks got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Artuur Van Steen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Vivaldo Cunha got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Maurice Vissenakens took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mané Barreto. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goalkeeper Mané Barreto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robbe Winnepennincks. In the 68th match minute, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. Geert Bosmans's late challenge caught a E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geert Bosmans helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Geert Bosmans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mané Barreto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geert Bosmans went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Bacardi FC booed when E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vivaldo Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Mané Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geert Bosmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Vaz came free, but Ricky Van Dock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Vivaldo Cunha seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vivaldo Cunha the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of E. C. Flamengo Paraibano protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vivaldo Cunha had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 92 played minutes E. C. Flamengo Paraibano got a freekick which was hit by Vivaldo Cunha. Ariando Vacas missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 93 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Mané Barreto right hand side. In the 96th minute Inácio Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricky Van Dock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrzej Solarek hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. After having played for 99 minutes, Robbe Winnepennincks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bacardi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robbe Winnepennincks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Bacardi FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than E. C. Flamengo Paraibano throughout the match.
