The Wolfpack™'s Cadwaladr Carabajal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Oswaldo Figueiredo in the 3 minute of the game. Natanael Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lex Dewolf, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute Lex Dewolf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Goiás Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. Eliézer Barros was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. Eliézer Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Laurent Elzen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lex Dewolf in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natanael Paraense saved Goiás Esporte Clube from getting behind. Jean-Marie Van Bever didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Paulo Medeiros went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute, Lex Dewolf made a precise shot to the right of Natanael Paraense. Goiás Esporte Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A throw-in in the 36th minute of the game was made by Oswaldo Figueiredo with Daniel Schmidt as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, José Paulo Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goiás Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but José Paulo Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Marie Van Bever breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Schmidt to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes The Wolfpack™ got a freekick which was hit by Alek Justus. Natanael Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lex Dewolf, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute, Alek Justus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Paulo Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natanael Paraense made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Lex Dewolf sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense got control of the ball when Alek Justus tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Goiás Esporte Clube's Oswaldo Figueiredo got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76thth minute of the game Lex Dewolf who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th play minute Lex Dewolf came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Natanael Paraense. 1-3. The Wolfpack™'s Jean-Marie Van Bever played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Paulo Medeiros in the 83rd minute of play. José Paulo Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Marie Van Bever having to interfere. After 94 played minutes The Wolfpack™ got a freekick which was hit by Lex Dewolf. The The Wolfpack™ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
