Geovanni Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Flinta in the 12th minute of the match. If Fred Flinta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovanni Vides made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cao Zhen in the 15th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Eugênio Pires threw the ball into play from the sideline. Joxa mé trasan's Billy Dahlqvist quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 21 minutes into the match, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goal looked a bit too open when Cao Zhen came free, but Geovanni Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joxa mé trasan were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sabin Macovei took the corner. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Cao Zhen scored to the left of an out of position Geovanni Vides, making the score, 1-0. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Geovanni Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cao Zhen in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goalkeeper Geovanni Vides, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joxa mé trasan's Billy Dahlqvist managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eugênio Pires in the 30 minute of the game. E. C. Thanks to some nice moves Fred Flinta could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Geovanni Vides however easily saved by the left post. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sabin Macovei was slow to take the kick. During this time Joxa mé trasan's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Joxa mé trasan getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Arman von Liechtenstein hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Albin Anundsson made the kick off in the second half. Joxa mé trasan's Billy Dahlqvist quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eugênio Pires, made in the 52nd minute of the game. With a little luck, Joxa mé trasan's Edward Engström got control of the ball when Hamílton Tande tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamílton Tande got free with Edward Engström in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reynaldo Mineiro got a throw-in 66 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hamílton Tande. In the 70th match minute, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardinho Vaz to maneuver through the defense. Flamengo Paraibano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovanni Vides should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute, Fred Flinta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joxa mé trasan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Joxa mé trasan's attentive Doyle Brunson managed to snatch the ball when Eugênio Pires made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. Hamílton Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Engström having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Kaj Kruuse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Flinta in the 92nd minute of play forced E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goalkeeper Geovanni Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egil Bern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Vides having to interfere. Joxa mé trasan walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
