The Wolfpack™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E. C. Flamengo Paraibano the free kick. Lex Dewolf kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Eugênio Pires got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes in the game, Lex Dewolf dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, The Wolfpack™'s goalkeeper Jean-Marie Van Bever had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albin Anundsson. Eugênio Pires hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The supporters of E. C. Flamengo Paraibano booed when The Wolfpack™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alek Justus didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Lex Dewolf notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Hélio Guimarães. Hélio Guimarães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hamílton Tande's late challenge caught a The Wolfpack™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hamílton Tande helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Hamílton Tande got a free kick in the 36th minute. Hélio Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lex Dewolf in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, The Wolfpack™'s Lex Dewolf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hélio Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lex Dewolf in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélio Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lex Dewolf in the 48th minute of play forced E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goalkeeper Hélio Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 58th minute, Lex Dewolf ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hélio Guimarães was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Natan Omblets charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Lex Dewolf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hélio Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the E. C. Flamengo Paraibano defense, Lex Dewolf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélio Guimarães. The E. C. Flamengo Paraibano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélio Guimarães should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lex Dewolf in the 78th minute of play forced E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goalkeeper Hélio Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Laurent Elzen notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of E. C. The The Wolfpack™ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
