That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. The supporters of ATLETICO MENDOZA booed when Defensores de Fasano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jose Chale made the kick off in the second half. Jose Chale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deng Liang Yao having to interfere.
