Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Federico Insúa was the one to do the kick off. Los Liquisue FC's Uwe Septinius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Chale in the 50th minute of play. In the 51st minute of the match ATLETICO MENDOZA got a corner. Los Liquisue FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 庞思傲 ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Insúa in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Václav Filipi saved ATLETICO MENDOZA from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Federico Insúa put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Václav Filipi. Los Liquisue FC's Uwe Septinius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Ruy in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Los Liquisue FC's Edgard Kusko got a free kick in the 69th minute. ATLETICO MENDOZA's 庞思傲 got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ATLETICO MENDOZA's Václav Filipi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigoris Berzovitis in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute Justo Muno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe Septinius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Liquisue FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Vincente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Václav Filipi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abel Aureo came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Václav Filipi could save by the left post.
