Okanalp Doğu thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Silviu Filip, a very annoying self made goal in the 7th minute which led to 0-1. Silviu Filip came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo. But to his dismay, Aureliano Karlo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Sansone Poso scored 1-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Eztebe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Karlo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silviu Filip was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Silviu Filip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Karlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute of the match America De Cali got a corner. AFC FUSION's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aquiles Telmo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of AFC FUSION's goalie and right to Cyryl Dziechciowski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. AFC FUSION's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Silviu Filip showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 39 minutes of play, AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silviu Filip was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christoff Stocks struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Silviu Filip didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC FUSION. Dawid Beckham scored 1-4 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silviu Filip, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliano Karlo to make the kick off. With 52 minutes on the clock, Josue Saa commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Romulo Abilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. America De Cali made a substitution. Christoff Stocks took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silviu Filip. Silviu Filip dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Jonatan Maidana's late challenge caught a America De Cali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonatan Maidana helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AFC FUSION eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
