When Riquelme Fútbol Club's Eduardo Salvi in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Atila Edu as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Rodolfo Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Salvi in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Errapel saved Santa Maradona from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Cordeiro got free with Atila Edu in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodolfo Cordeiro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Atila Edu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Miguel Transito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Cordeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Riquelme Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Cordeiro came free, but Atila Edu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Riquelme Fútbol Club's goalie and right to Cecilio Beltxe. Riquelme Fútbol Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Miguel Transito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atila Edu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Oalo came free, but Jonathan Errapel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severo Urbes had several of the Santa Maradona's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Jonathan Errapel as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Rodolfo Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Genaro Suarez got free with Jonathan Errapel in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Jonathan Errapel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Genaro Suarez. 69 minutes into the match, Riquelme Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Beltxe came free, but Atila Edu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atila Edu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Cordeiro in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Rodolfo Cordeiro made a precise shot to the right of Atila Edu. Riquelme Fútbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. In the 90th minute, Riquelme Fútbol Club's Severo Urbes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Errapel. Jonathan Errapel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. After 95 played minutes Riquelme Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Orlanda. Santa Maradona were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Riquelme Fútbol Club for a fine match.
