The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. GangsTaz F. C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oscar Malbernat in the 4th minute. Abel Bernard was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Abel Panfilo managed to get in a good position for a shot. GangsTaz F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Panfilo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. François-Xavier Dionnet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aristides Iztal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanni Zalon in the 11th minute of play. In the 21st minute Abel Panfilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but François-Xavier Dionnet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. François-Xavier Dionnet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Jesus Gana in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Jesus Gana in the 27th minute of play forced Ruquense FC's goalkeeper François-Xavier Dionnet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. François-Xavier Dionnet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Panfilo in the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Panfilo in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck François-Xavier Dionnet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carmelo Ishmael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without François-Xavier Dionnet having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Ruquense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslaw Mielak to maneuver through the defense. Aristides Iztal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geovanni Zalon in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Ruquense FC booed when GangsTaz F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Irigoyen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Ruquense FC from getting a goal against them. GangsTaz F. C. were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Ruquense FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oscar Malbernat took the corner. Oscar Malbernat made a great header on GangsTaz F. C.'s corner, it was just that Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet managed to reach the ball for a save. François-Xavier Dionnet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Ishmael in the 59th minute of the match. The corner led GangsTaz F. C.'s Oscar Malbernat to fire away a dangerous shot which François-Xavier Dionnet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Carmelo Ishmael hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The GangsTaz F. C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
