Martín Izquierdo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andrézinho Pelé showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. In the 14th minute, Aureliano Urbes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Martin Palermo F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 17 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Lino Semeno. Mauro Efren struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Prospero Maju didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martin Palermo F.C.. Andrézinho Pelé took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martín Izquierdo. Martín Izquierdo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Martín Izquierdo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrézinho Pelé in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Aureliano Urbes got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute Benicio Izquierdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Maju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes of play, RB Chubut's Andrézinho Pelé made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martín Izquierdo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute, Andrézinho Pelé made a precise shot to the right of Martín Izquierdo. Martin Palermo F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When Roland Schiavi fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RB Chubut's protests and gave Roland Schiavi a yellow card for diving instead. Roland Schiavi kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Segundo Peyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Martin Palermo F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RB Chubut the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrézinho Pelé in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martín Izquierdo prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrézinho Pelé to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Filomeno Dino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Martin Palermo F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RB Chubut the free kick. After 53 played minutes Martin Palermo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Dino. Andrézinho Pelé struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. If Lázaro Quico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrézinho Pelé took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martín Izquierdo. Martín Izquierdo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Benjamin Izquierdo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Prospero Maju came out and tried to block the shot, but Benjamin Izquierdo slotted it home off the left post making it 7-2 in the 71st minute. Andrézinho Pelé took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martín Izquierdo. Martín Izquierdo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-2. Prospero Maju showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Lertxun in the 80th minute of the match. When Andrézinho Pelé came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the RB Chubut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrézinho Pelé couldn't finish the play. Martín Izquierdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho Pelé in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Andrézinho Pelé came free, but Martín Izquierdo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of RB Chubut booed when Martin Palermo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Lertxun didn't get a good kick on the ball.
