But to his dismay, Dagoberto Custódio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 5th minute, Jonathan Petri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Custódio in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 11th minute of play forced Litoral EC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Kıvanç Bengi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute of the match, Antônio Carlos Bueno tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kıvanç Bengi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. William Batista hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Kıvanç Bengi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 19th minute of play. Arlindo Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Joestar in the 21st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Joestar in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arlindo Guedes saved AF CERRADO from getting behind. After 22 minutes, Joseph Joestar made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Antônio Carlos Bueno put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Kıvanç Bengi. Arlindo Guedes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joseph Joestar went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. When Litoral EC - CIMZ's Dagoberto Custódio in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AF CERRADO's goalie prevented a goal. In the 45th minute Dagoberto Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antônio Carlos Bueno was the one to do the kick off. If Jonathan Petri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kıvanç Bengi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 53rd minute of play. Joseph Joestar came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arlindo Guedes could save by the left post. In the 55th minute Litoral EC - CIMZ were awarded a corner. Paulinho Penha went to the cornerflag to take it. Kıvanç Bengi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Carlos Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Joestar in the 70th minute of play. Murilo Lucas might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kıvanç Bengi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Murilo Lucas ran back to his position shaking his head. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Kıvanç Bengi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Lucas in the 72nd minute of play. AF CERRADO's Marcos Paulista got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AF CERRADO's Dennis Contaldi was substituted for Róbson Bittencourt. Litoral EC - CIMZ made a substitution. André Hoffmann replaced Dagoberto Custódio. AF CERRADO made a substitution. Felix Smits replaced Carlos Alberto Jacinto. Felix Smits kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Hoffmann in the 84th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Arlindo Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kıvanç Bengi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antônio Carlos Bueno's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Pedro Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulinho Penha was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 88th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 90th minute Jonathan Petri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute Antônio Carlos Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kıvanç Bengi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Antônio Carlos Bueno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AF CERRADO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Litoral EC - CIMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
