The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes of play, Merusca F&P's Florian Capasso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caetano da Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Caetano da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Capasso in the 29th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Ciro Elija ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro-Facundo Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fellipe Capixaba during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fellipe Capixaba hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. A collision led to Merusca F&P getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Anderson Vidal hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Elija made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Fellipe Capixaba threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chelsicha's Aloísio Schmidt quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Florian Capasso scored 1-3 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caetano da Silveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Merusca F&P made a substitution. Marcinho Sabóia replaced Fumanchu Ponta. Merusca F&P's Hélder Fonseca was substituted for Florian Capasso. In the 62nd match minute, Chelsicha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. Hélder Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Caetano da Silveira made a huge save. Walmyr Novaes hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Merusca F&P's Mauro-Facundo Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Maciel in the 65th minute of play. Merusca F&P's Pedrinho Paranaense quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jean Carl Mintoff, made in the 68th minute of the game. After 72 played minutes Merusca F&P got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Mangueira. 82 minutes into the match, Hélder Fonseca notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Chelsicha's Caetano da Silveira. Caetano da Silveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute, Hélder Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merusca F&P fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Merusca F&P's Mauro-Facundo Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Elija in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Ciro Elija managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsicha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Elija was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Túlio Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Chelsicha supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Merusca F&P's performance. The match ended with a win for Merusca F&P.
