Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the match, Xiao Yun Jun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maxime Durand, 1-0. 5 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but Kristian Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerry Brunault during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jerry Brunault hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Maxime Durand threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xiao Yun Jun, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kristian Martinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fenerbahçe S.K.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Barbier was slow to take the kick. During this time France's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that David Barbier got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kristian Martinsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 13 minutes of play, France's Frank Peletier made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristian Martinsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 17 played minutes Fenerbahçe S.K. got a freekick which was hit by Cruz Lentz. After a defensive mix-up in Fenerbahçe S.K.'s zone, David Barbier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Martinsson came out of the goal and David Barbier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilberto Fremont could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. In the 22ndth minute of the game Frank Peletier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Kristian Martinsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexis Bruneau hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Maxime Durand was a little too slow when Gilberto Fremont got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Peletier in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristian Martinsson saved Fenerbahçe S.K. from getting behind. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s attentive Sherman Eldridge managed to snatch the ball when David Barbier made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Fenerbahçe S.K. defense, Camille Baume kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristian Martinsson. The Fenerbahçe S.K. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristian Martinsson should have stopped the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Peletier was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Fenerbahçe S.K. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cruz Lentz to maneuver through the defense. Frank Peletier's late challenge caught a Fenerbahçe S.K.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Peletier helped the player get up and apologised. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Fremont, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Fremont in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilberto Fremont spun around in front of the goal 65 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of France's goal. Robert Chapuis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Kristian Martinsson made a huge save. Gilberto Fremont received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Octav Chificeac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Peletiers short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Kristian Martinsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xiao Yun Jun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xiao Yun Jun in the 89th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Fenerbahçe S.K.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of France:s goal. The referee gave France a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by David Barbier, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Kristian Martinsson. 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Peletier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristian Martinsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. France had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
