After 37 minutes, Froilan Reyes made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Reyes in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armindo Salgado saved VB-Team from getting behind. Armindo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Reyes in the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Froilan Reyes in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armindo Salgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luis Täger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervásio Severiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joaquim de Barros to make the kick off. If Froilan Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save VB-Team from getting a goal against them. Froilan Reyes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Armindo Salgado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Reyes in the 64th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Yannick Bartz heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 67th minute Froilan Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Täger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandro Leitão's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Parque Europa FC made a substitution. Parque Europa FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Braga ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 74th minute Aureliano Soto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
