When Gunvald Mitens fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Drik's protests and gave Gunvald Mitens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, FC Drik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunvald Mitens to maneuver through the defense. Ted Kobbeltvedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wei Qi Yi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Campanar City's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Barskov came free, but Santo Incera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Devlet İşcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Incera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Hemming Glykær was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Drik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campanar City the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Drik's Hemming Glykær got a free kick in the 10th minute. Wei Qi Yi had several of the FC Drik's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ted Kobbeltvedt as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 25th minute Ernst Barskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Incera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes, Cresenciano Alarcon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campanar City and the FC Drik players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Campanar City getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Cresenciano Alarcon hit a great ball. Ted Kobbeltvedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wei Qi Yi, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After some careless play in the Campanar City defense, Ernst Barskov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santo Incera. The Campanar City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santo Incera should have stopped the shot. Hemming Glykær received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Santo Incera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Campanar City's Wei Qi Yi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ted Kobbeltvedt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With a little luck, FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt got control of the ball when Wei Qi Yi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wei Qi Yi to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Hemming Glykær managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Drik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hemming Glykær was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Campanar City fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Campanar City's Wei Qi Yi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wei Qi Yi in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Drik's goalkeeper Ted Kobbeltvedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ted Kobbeltvedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kingston Mønster in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Campanar City's goalkeeper Santo Incera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gunvald Mitens. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wei Qi Yi in the 67th minute of play forced FC Drik's goalkeeper Ted Kobbeltvedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Campanar City's Santo Incera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Campanar City from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute, Eduardo Carceles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Campanar City's Wei Qi Yi in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Drik's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wei Qi Yi in the 83rd minute of play forced FC Drik's goalkeeper Ted Kobbeltvedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Eduardo Carceles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Hemming Glykær shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Incera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Campanar City's Cresenciano Alarcon got a free kick in the 88th minute. Ted Kobbeltvedt came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Campanar City's Wei Qi Yi. But to his dismay, Wei Qi Yi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Drik players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Campanar City.
