Alberto Moraes was slow to take the kick. During this time Brazil's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Trem das Onze's goalie and right to Maurinho Mendonça. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Trem das Onze's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ricky Blake stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Morales Moreira's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Morales Moreira in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Ramos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricky Blake stood somewhat misplaced when Morales Moreira came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 52 minute. In the 54thth minute of the game Morales Moreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trem das Onze's Ricky Blake was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ricky Blake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morales Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Brazil's Morales Moreira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. When Erivaldo Borges came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Brazil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erivaldo Borges couldn't finish the play. Brazil made a substitution. In the 89th minute, Denílson Tepedino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricky Blake was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Ricky Blake made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denílson Tepedino in the 92nd minute. The Trem das Onze fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Brazil were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
