Rafael Piarres really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 17th minute, Mario Isusko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 20th minute, Anacleto Gasteiz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. The goal made the score 4-0. In the 23rd match minute, Serbia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cvijetin Nanusevski to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute of the match, Esteban Indar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Isusko went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Piarres in the 33rd minute of play. Vladeta Jovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulryk Bugajski having to interfere. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Indar in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Samuel Hitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Argentino de Buenos Aires's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Serbia the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Argentino de Buenos Aires was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Hitz to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 41 minutes, Sreten Popovic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serbia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sreten Popovic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute Rafael Piarres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Mario Isusko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic, 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The wind increased when Esteban Indar made the kick off in the second half. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonzalo Marcones went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Piarres in the 61st minute of play forced Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Piarres in the 63rd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Serbia's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Piarres came free, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Isusko in the 68th minute of play. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Joachim in the 99th minute of play. A collision led to Serbia getting a freekick after 101 minutes play. Sreten Popovic hit a great ball. Argentino de Buenos Aires's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
