Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Toni Mauzer took the kick off in the first half of the match. Eduard Kostelac scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cléber Araújo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร's zone, Damir Pongrac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cléber Araújo came out of the goal and Damir Pongrac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cléber Araújo came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Croatia's Martin Bosak. But to his dismay, Martin Bosak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 16th minute, Dinko Stankovic ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cléber Araújo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Dinko Stankovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Paiva. In the 29th minute Dinko Stankovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Edu Quirino hit a great ball. Cléber Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Mauzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Eduard Kostelac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damir Pongrac hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Toni Mauzer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร's Cléber Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinko Stankovic in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso Loyola to make the kick off. Damir Pongrac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber Araújo having to interfere. Damir Pongrac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cléber Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Sidney Hoffmann hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Toni Mauzer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Toscano in the 61st minute of play forced Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Toni Mauzer came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Croatia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toni Mauzer couldn't finish the play. Toni Mauzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Cléber Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Sá to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Martin Bosak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Croatia booed when ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fabiano Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toni Mauzer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cléber Araújo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Croatia played a much better game than ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร and deserved their victory. The ᗰ¡яεu Δหgεłร players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
