Zac O'Donnell ran back to his position shaking his head. Inocencio Bertin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fletcher Main, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Alexander Higgins managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Desastre FC's Esteban Servando fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Esteban Servandos short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Alexander Higgins to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Robert McNeill hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fletcher Main in the 15th minute of play forced Desastre FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Bertin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute of the game Eduardo Javiar made a throw-in which Norberto Dunixi played forward. After 18 minutes, Zac O'Donnell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scotland and the Desastre FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alexander Higgins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Servando in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jack MacKinnon during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Scotland getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jack MacKinnon hit a great ball. Eugenio Nastasio struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Alexander Higgins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Desastre FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cirilo Benvido got free with Alexander Higgins in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28thth minute of the game Esteban Servando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scotland's Alexander Higgins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Scotland's Alexander Higgins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Servando in the 29th minute of play. Scotland's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Ernesto Marquez scored to the left of an out of position Alexander Higgins, making the score, 1-0. If Ernesto Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert McNeill hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Scotland's goalkeeper Alexander Higgins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban Servando. Scotland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosme Perez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Cirilo Benvido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. Alexander Higgins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Servando, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Scotland's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Servando came free, but Alexander Higgins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66thth minute of the game Esteban Servando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scotland's Alexander Higgins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Ashton Nelson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Desastre FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Scotland had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
