Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Playo in the 27th minute of the match. LanParty's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lorenzo Flores in the 28th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Kleanthis Tripitsidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Francis got free with Ramon Domiku in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute Elpidio Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Domiku saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kleanthis Tripitsidis to make the kick off. Juan Román struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kleanthis Tripitsidis got free with Branislav Velchevski in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
