Pawel Mietus scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Pawel Mietus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rey Acitores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pawel Mietus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Pawel Mietus made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 25th minute of play forced GALACTICOS's goalkeeper Rey Acitores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rey Acitores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 28th minute of the match. Pawel Mietus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Bruno Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pawel Mietus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Mietus in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, GALACTICOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoro Guillarte to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rey Acitores made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Felipe Barreto sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute Graciano Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rey Acitores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Mietus in the 67th minute of play. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. A nice corner shot did that Norman Salcedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilson Amorim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 74 minutes into the game, Pawel Mietus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 76 in the game by Felipinho Amorim from a close distance when the talented Rey Acitores managed to make a qualified save. GALACTICOS's players were relieved. Felipinho Amorim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rey Acitores came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipinho Amorim slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 78th minute. Felipinho Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rey Acitores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipinho Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. Rey Acitores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Victoro Guillarte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GALACTICOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portugal the free kick. Victoro Guillarte hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Norman Salcedo in the 86 minute of the game. Bruno Bastos made in the 91st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Faustino Almeida however managed to control. After 92 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Almeida. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GALACTICOS.
