Jörgen Lindkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 7th minute of the match. Jörgen Lindkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jörgen Lindkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Henning Fransson came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juventus FC's Jörgen Lindkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 33rd minute of play. Jörgen Lindkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jörgen Lindkvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 71 minutes into the match, Juventus FC's goalkeeper Jörgen Lindkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Juventus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Biörling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Lindkvist having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus FC's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jörgen Lindkvist came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 88 played minutes Juventus FC got a freekick which was hit by Henning Fransson. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jörgen Lindkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great ball. Erik Ström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 92nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Marques III came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Netherlands walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
