Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lugano's Kai Kamarche started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Hakan Şükür reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucius Berger. The goal made the score 1-0. Lucius Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ümit Salik, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Kerem Akburak heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 17th minute Ümit Salik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucius Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to F.C. KASABALI 45 getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Şimşek Olgun hit a great ball. The supporters of F.C. KASABALI 45 booed when Lugano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paddy Aceto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ümit Salik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Lucius Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hakan Şükür recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Yunus Yürük hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai Kamarche in the 33rd minute of play forced F.C. KASABALI 45's goalkeeper Rüştü Rencber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, F.C. KASABALI 45's goal looked a bit too open when Gunther Wiss came free, but Rüştü Rencber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game Bruno Guimarães who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. KASABALI 45's Rüştü Rencber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute, Ümit Salik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucius Berger was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Lugano's zone, Ümit Salik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucius Berger came out of the goal and Ümit Salik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ümit Salik made a kick off. When Kai Kamarche fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lugano's protests and gave Kai Kamarche a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of F.C. KASABALI 45 booed when Lugano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kai Kamarche didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to F.C. KASABALI 45 getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ümit Salik hit a great ball. Rüştü Rencber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kai Kamarche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Gunther Wiss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rüştü Rencber was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Gunther Wiss sped through F.C. KASABALI 45's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rüştü Rencber. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai Kamarche in the 80th minute of play forced F.C. KASABALI 45's goalkeeper Rüştü Rencber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Ümit Salik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. KASABALI 45's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lugano the free kick. Ümit Salik kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, F.C. KASABALI 45 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kerem Akburak to maneuver through the defense. Rüştü Rencber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lothaire Coccia in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, F.C. KASABALI 45's goalkeeper Rüştü Rencber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Guimarães. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. KASABALI 45's goalkeeper Rüştü Rencber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lugano's Gunther Wiss got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute Ümit Salik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucius Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. F.C. KASABALI 45's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
