RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Luck the free kick. Narcis Voinescu scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dean Dams, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sever Patriciu got free with Dean Dams in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sever Patriciu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Dean Dams made a huge save. Pavel Logofătu made a great header on FC Luck's corner, it was just that RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's Dean Dams managed to reach the ball for a save. Roch Cieslak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dean Dams made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Patriciu in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Narcis Voinescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Luck fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalmacio Gomez was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, FC Luck's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dalmacio Gomez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 54th minute, Narcis Voinescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dean Dams took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Voinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmacio Aimar hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's Dean Dams played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sever Patriciu in the 75th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sever Patriciu during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Geronimo Corderun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roch Cieslak having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Luck had won after a very even match.
