With a little luck, Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon got control of the ball when Benny Niva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Los Muchachos del 86 were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Celta de Virgos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristian Urtzi took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Asiz Soon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zacarias Ascencio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Atahan Balon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Niva in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Cristian Urtzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Bernardino Rosio from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Atahan Balon's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 17th minute of the match Celta de Virgos got a corner. Los Muchachos del 86's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernardino Rosio ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 19th minute, Bernardino Rosio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacarias Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo-Enrique Bochini, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Los Muchachos del 86 getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ladislao Constancio hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dündar Aynacıoğlu got free with Atahan Balon in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute, Benny Niva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celta de Virgos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Los Muchachos del 86 from getting a goal against them. Celta de Virgos's Bernardino Rosio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Atahan Balon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Atahan Balon acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ruben Gomez.

The wind increased when Saverio Brion made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Los Muchachos del 86 booed when Celta de Virgos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biagio Pavlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atahan Balon came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Celta de Virgos's David Astudillo. But to his dismay, David Astudillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Celta de Virgos's Zacarias Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Honesto in the 84th minute of play. Zacarias Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Honesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Astudillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atahan Balon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Astudillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Atahan Balon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Astudillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Celta de Virgos's David Astudillo in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Muchachos del 86's goalie prevented a goal. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Muchachos del 86's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bernardino Rosio was slow to take the kick. During this time Celta de Virgos's players had a chance to rest. Fabio Bencivenni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Zacarias Ascencio made a huge save. Celta de Virgos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Los Muchachos del 86 for a fine match.
