GuateFortín's Juan José Ferrero managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fidel Uranga in the 3 minute of the game. Fidel Uranga charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fidel Uranga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, Fidel Uranga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goalkeeper Roberto Nunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Medrano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Del Cid in the 13th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Roberto Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Miguel Ángel Benito made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Peña was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 19 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gomez. A collision led to GuateFortín getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Salvador Gomez hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Miguel Ángel Benito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Peña. Club Deportivo Águila's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Ángel Benito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Libardo Fuentes came free, but Roberto Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of GuateFortín booed when Club Deportivo Águila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Uranga didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fidel Uranga was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. 47 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goal looked a bit too open when Carlitos Bianchi came free, but Ricardo Peña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Roberto Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Medrano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the game, Miguel Ángel Benito recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Peña. Miguel Ángel Benito showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. In the 62nd minute, Miguel Ángel Benito made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Peña. Club Deportivo Águila's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. GuateFortín's David Ruiz was substituted for Salvador Gomez. Miguel Ángel Benito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Peña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Roberto Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Medrano in the 90th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Miguel Ángel Benito reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ricardo Peña. The goal made the score 0-9.
