Liu Yong Yong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doruk Köken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. OROTINENSE's Jacek Walczak got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zheng Xi Xun got free with Liu Yong Yong in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Liu Yong Yong made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Zheng Xi Xun sent off a good shot on target. The OROTINENSE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Liu Yong Yong should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacek Walczak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Songurhan Mete succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 53rd playminute. 56 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's Ruhi Uluöz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank Mora narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute Zheng Xi Xun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liu Yong Yong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liu Yong Yong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zheng Xi Xun, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Mora prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Iordache Opincaru put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Frank Mora. The audience was convinced that Zheng Xi Xun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Liu Yong Yong was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SAPRIMECKBEL fans cheered their team off the field, for while OROTINENSE had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
