The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Lea Papá's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Eneto came free, but José Maria Buljubasich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 7 minutes, Claudio Scalise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Lea Papá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Scalise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Miguel Tejada got a free kick in the 10th minute. Claudio Scalise hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Arnoldo Eneto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Buljubasich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Eneto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Scalise came free, but Severo Tximitx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Eneto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Maria Buljubasich having to interfere. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Lea Papá's goalkeeper José Maria Buljubasich, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Atlético Lea Papá were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Horacio Carbonari took the corner. Severo Tximitx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Scalise in the 40th minute of the match. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Severo Tximitx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Carracedo in the 44th minute of play. After 45 played minutes ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Eneto.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Scalise to make the kick off. The supporters of ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ booed when Club Atlético Lea Papá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Carracedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Maria Buljubasich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Pelagius, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Club Atlético Lea Papá made a substitution. Valentin Arellano replaced Claudio Scalise. José Maria Buljubasich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Peruxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alonzo Peruxu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Maria Buljubasich having to make a save. Alonzo Peruxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Maria Buljubasich read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Miguel Tejada hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Lea Papá defense, Alonzo Peruxu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Maria Buljubasich. The Club Atlético Lea Papá fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Maria Buljubasich should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Andriy Kaká got a free kick in the 94th minute.
