ORION F.C.'s Leonidas Barrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruhi Uluöz in the 3rd minute of play. Songurhan Mete could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Leonidas Barrera made a huge save. Luis Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Liu Yong Yong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes ORION F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luis Bermudez. Liu Yong Yong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 22 minutes into the game, ORION F.C.'s Alexander Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Liu Yong Yong made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Bermudez in the 32nd minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Beppe Sarnelli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OROTINENSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beppe Sarnelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Jacek Walczak notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of ORION F.C.'s Leonidas Barrera. Leonidas Barrera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis Bermudez kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. ORION F.C.'s Leonidas Barrera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save ORION F.C. from getting a goal against them. Luis Bermudez charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Bermudez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ORION F.C. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Luis Bermudez hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, ORION F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Walczak came free, but Leonidas Barrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacek Walczak in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonidas Barrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacek Walczak made a kick off. The supporters of OROTINENSE booed when ORION F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonidas Barrera came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by OROTINENSE's Iordache Opincaru. But to his dismay, Iordache Opincaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 63 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Murillo came free, but Liu Yong Yong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruhi Uluöz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Leonidas Barrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonidas Barrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordache Opincaru in the 78th minute of the match. With a little luck, OROTINENSE's Liu Yong Yong got control of the ball when Felipe Gómez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute Alexander Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liu Yong Yong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dé Santos hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Jacek Walczak hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Songurhan Mete managed to get in a good position for a shot. OROTINENSE's supporters rose to their feet, but Songurhan Mete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonidas Barrera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite being the better team, OROTINENSE failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
