Edgardo Soto Tapia hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the CSD Concepción defense, Hernán Torrejón kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Podgoreanu. The CSD Concepción fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Podgoreanu should have stopped the shot. The corner led CSD Concepción's Serafín Jarpa to fire away a dangerous shot which James Novak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Sebastian Felin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Luis Rufo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Sebastian Felin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. James Novak was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 27 played minutes SiTomanBoy´s got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Vitucci. 28 minutes into the match, SiTomanBoy´s's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Felin came free, but James Novak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Staffan Arenius during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, SiTomanBoy´s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Staffan Arenius to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes SiTomanBoy´s got a freekick which was hit by Juan Luis Rufo. SiTomanBoy´s's Staffan Arenius got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Staffan Arenius off the ground. In the 46th match minute, SiTomanBoy´s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Staffan Arenius to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Felin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. CSD Concepción's Sebastian Felin suffered a sore thigh after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 53rd match minute, SiTomanBoy´s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Brand to maneuver through the defense. Roland Brand kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. James Novak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Antonio Amenábar in the 56th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernán Torrejón during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hernán Torrejón hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Manuel Antonio Amenábar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of James Novak. SiTomanBoy´s's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Antonio Amenábar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. SiTomanBoy´s made a substitution. Toninho Guerreiro replaced Hernán Torrejón. SiTomanBoy´s's Verner Nord was substituted for Calvin Bessone. CSD Concepción made a substitution. Júnior Fernandes replaced Calixto Urquidi. Toninho Guerreiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Podgoreanu having to interfere. CSD Concepción's Emanuel Podgoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Guerreiro in the 73rd minute of play. SiTomanBoy´s's James Novak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save SiTomanBoy´s from getting a goal against them. James Novak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucero De la Sotta in the 79th minute. SiTomanBoy´s's James Novak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Antonio Amenábar in the 84th minute of play. James Novak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucero De la Sotta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Lucero De la Sotta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSD Concepción fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. James Novak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucero De la Sotta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The CSD Concepción supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CSD Concepción would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
