In the 14th minute Lester Clavijo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Pedraza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Costa Pacífico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raymundo Carilao came free, but Mateo Pedraza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaw Pysz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fan Xing Cheng in the 20th minute. A collision led to Costa Pacífico FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fan Xing Cheng to make the kick off. With a little luck, Costa Pacífico FC's Mateo Pedraza got control of the ball when Raymundo Carilao tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mateo Pedraza made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Lester Clavijo sent off a good shot on target. Jon-Ander Echeverría in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mateo Pedraza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 64 minutes into the match, Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Göransson came free, but Gustaw Pysz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raymundo Carilao in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Pedraza saved Costa Pacífico FC from getting behind.
