Tancredo Manguyague was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Pape Lillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pape Lillo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Zorros del Desierto's Alex Dijoux nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tancredo Manguyague made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Luis Alberto Spinetta hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Pape Lillo. Zorros del Desierto's Alex Dijoux got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Tancredo Manguyague managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Zorros del Desierto's Alex Dijoux fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 23rd minute of the match Zorros del Desierto got a corner. Snorlax FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastián Roco ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Darío Verón managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a little luck, Snorlax FC's Tancredo Manguyague got control of the ball when Pape Lillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Dijoux got free with Tancredo Manguyague in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zorros del Desierto's Sebastián Roco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tancredo Manguyague in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alex Dijoux hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Dijoux to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when Joshua Barfield put in a rough tackle. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zorros del Desierto! Clark Kent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Jesus Allu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Abdallah to maneuver through the defense. Snorlax FC's Edgard Elia was substituted for Lorenzo Cartagena. Snorlax FC's Tibalt Bruna was substituted for Zebulón Diaz de Andrade. Matteo Fierro hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Quique Cordoba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tancredo Manguyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quique Cordoba, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Zorros del Desierto's Quique Cordoba managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mario Jesus Allu in the 86 minute of the game. Quique Cordoba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Echedey Painemal fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Snorlax FC's protests and gave Echedey Painemal a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Snorlax FC got a freekick which was hit by Echedey Painemal. Zorros del Desierto's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
