Gerónimo Molina started the match with the kick off. In the 12th minute, Gerónimo Molina reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tancredo Manguyague. The goal made the score 2-0. Gerónimo Molina might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tancredo Manguyague. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerónimo Molina ran back to his position shaking his head. 17 minutes into the match, Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Tancredo Manguyague had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerónimo Molina. In the 20th minute, Snorlax FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gerónimo Molina fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tancredo Manguyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerónimo Molina in the 29th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Gerónimo Molina dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tancredo Manguyague, 3-0. In the 35th minute, Gerónimo Molina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. Peñarol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Tancredo Manguyague was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gerónimo Molina showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 38 minute of play. If Gerónimo Molina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute, Zebulón Diaz de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gerónimo Molina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the match, Snorlax FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerónimo Molina came free, but Tancredo Manguyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. Peñarol's goalkeeper Xaiver Rosende, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

53 minutes into the match, Gerónimo Molina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tancredo Manguyague. Snorlax FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerónimo Molina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 57th minute, Gerónimo Molina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. Peñarol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. A collision led to C.A. Peñarol getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Gerónimo Molina hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes C.A. Peñarol got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Infante. With a little luck, C.A. Peñarol's Xaiver Rosende got control of the ball when Mario Jesus Allu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerónimo Molina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tancredo Manguyague read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Tancredo Manguyague showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerónimo Molina in the 68th minute of the match. If Mario Jesus Allu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Gerónimo Molina notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Snorlax FC's Tancredo Manguyague. Tancredo Manguyague was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. C.A. Peñarol made a substitution. Anselmo Velin replaced Gerónimo Molina. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Velin in the 79th minute of play forced Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Tancredo Manguyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Snorlax FC's zone, Anselmo Velin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tancredo Manguyague came out of the goal and Anselmo Velin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anselmo Velin took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tancredo Manguyague. Tancredo Manguyague dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Tancredo Manguyague stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Velin's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. When Anselmo Velin came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the C.A. Peñarol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Velin couldn't finish the play. Zebulón Diaz de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Xaiver Rosende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.A. Peñarol fans cheered their team off the field, for while Snorlax FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
