Jon-Ander Wallffiguer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Candido Piedra made a huge save. Alex Dijoux received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Candido Piedra came out and tried to block the shot, but Alex Dijoux slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. In the 9th match minute, Altermundi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Disvandis Larraona to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Dijoux got free with Candido Piedra in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Darío Verón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Candido Piedra made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Jon-Ander Wallffiguer took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Candido Piedra to make any attempt to save it. Clark Kent stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Visen Allu's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Candido Piedra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jon-Ander Wallffiguer in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra got control of the ball when Alex Dijoux tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Altermundi FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Recai Taykurt hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Alberto Spinetta in the 40th minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Candido Piedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Visen Allu in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Visen Allu was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Dijoux came free, but Candido Piedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candido Piedra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Dijoux's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. When Visen Allu came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Altermundi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Visen Allu couldn't finish the play. In the 65th match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Abdallah to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Clark Kent had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Recai Taykurt. In the 66th minute Altermundi FC were awarded a corner. Recai Taykurt went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Altermundi FC's corner Seran Torrijo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Clark Kent quite easily take care of the ball. Pablo Abdallah was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zorros del Desierto! Clark Kent had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Recai Taykurt's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 78th minute Sebastián Roco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Piedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Zorros del Desierto getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Chiquito Escalante hit a great ball. Altermundi FC's Pío Ducoing was substituted for Sergiu Zgrăbunţa. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Quique Cordoba replaced Davide De Sanctis. The supporters of Altermundi FC booed when Zorros del Desierto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chiquito Escalante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Visen Allu took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clark Kent. Clark Kent dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After 92 played minutes Altermundi FC got a freekick which was hit by Visen Allu. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Alberto Spinetta in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Altermundi FC's Pedro Reyes. Candido Piedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chiquito Escalante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Zorros del Desierto players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
