In the 15th minute Alvise De Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rey Acitores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rey Acitores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvise De Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rey Acitores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Cinalli in the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuele Brandolini got free with Rey Acitores in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rey Acitores made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Anoush Rott sent off a good shot on target. Rey Acitores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Cinalli in the 26th minute of the match. Pawel Mietus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pico Bădila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, GALACTICOS's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Cinalli came free, but Rey Acitores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 78th match minute, CA Boca Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Di Rocco to maneuver through the defense. Norman Salcedo got a throw-in 85 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alfredo Palos. Alfredo Palos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If José Mora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rey Acitores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermanno Ferrini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 100th minute of the match CA Boca Jrs got a corner. GALACTICOS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmondo Frezza ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led CA Boca Jrs's Edmondo Frezza to fire away a dangerous shot which Rey Acitores despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. CA Boca Jrs's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
