Martin Abadia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goal looked a bit too open when 俞广扬 came free, but Xzaiver Lorenzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Cervera in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xzaiver Lorenzo saved Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato from getting behind. When Oscar Santo came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Los Piratas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Santo couldn't finish the play. Xzaiver Lorenzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Cervera, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After the first half Los Piratas FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Cervera to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Los Piratas FC's Herald Roockeloes made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xzaiver Lorenzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Jorge Cervera could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Xzaiver Lorenzo however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Piratas FC's Candido Ospin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Xzaiver Lorenzo. That made the score 0-5 after 62 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice moves Jorge Cervera could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Xzaiver Lorenzo however easily saved by the left post. In the 65th minute, Candido Ospin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Piratas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Xzaiver Lorenzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Cervera in the 72nd minute. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Zorion Oña pulled a muscle in his back after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 74 minutes into the game, Salvador Izel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Piratas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato the free kick. Xzaiver Lorenzo came out of the goal and Moises Luzea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Candido Ospin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xzaiver Lorenzo came out and tried to block the shot, but Candido Ospin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 89th minute. Moises Luzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Xzaiver Lorenzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Los Piratas FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
