The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fulgencio Tolino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximino Cabezon went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 7 minutes into the game, Maximino Cabezon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Fulgencio Tolino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fulgencio Tolino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximino Cabezon's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Ramos in the 12th minute of play forced ACF Fiorentina's goalkeeper Claudinei Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, ACF Fiorentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Anisie to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Maximino Cabezon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Tolino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Fulgencio Tolino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Cabezon, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Made in Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Cabezon came free, but Fulgencio Tolino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Cabezon took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Tolino. Fulgencio Tolino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 27th play minutes Maximino Cabezon shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Fulgencio Tolino and just under the crossbar into goal. Made in Honduras's Fulgencio Tolino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Cabezon in the 35th minute of play. Maximino Cabezon might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fulgencio Tolino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximino Cabezon ran back to his position shaking his head. Fulgencio Tolino made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Maximino Cabezon sent off a good shot on target. Claudinei Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximino Cabezon to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Saturnino Michael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ACF Fiorentina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Made in Honduras the free kick. After a rather tough play, ACF Fiorentina's Saturnino Michael got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Saturnino Michael might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fulgencio Tolino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saturnino Michael ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Made in Honduras's zone, Maximino Cabezon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Tolino came out of the goal and Maximino Cabezon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, Made in Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Cabezon came free, but Fulgencio Tolino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Oswaldo Sifon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ACF Fiorentina's Federico Teofilio was substituted for Saturnino Michael. ACF Fiorentina made a substitution. Hernán Leandro replaced Maximino Cabezon. Abundio Carranza made in the 74th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Oswaldo Sifon immediately put the ball in play. Hernán Leandro scored 6-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fulgencio Tolino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Hernán Leandro sped through Made in Honduras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fulgencio Tolino. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ACF Fiorentina fans cheered their team off the field, for while Made in Honduras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
