After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Amador Venceslao got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benito Naldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Madison's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zézinho Neiva took the corner. The corner ended in Cosme Jaen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Madison's Ernesto Emmanuel did a great save. 86 minutes in the game, Cosme Jaen dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Madison's goalkeeper Ernesto Emmanuel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Soroca F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zézinho Neiva in the 93rd minute. If Răzvan Necula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Madison defense, Răzvan Necula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Emmanuel. The Madison fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Emmanuel should have stopped the shot.
