Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) AZURDUY F.C.'s Arnoldo Curcio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. AZURDUY F.C. were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Club Almirante Brown's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roque Reno took the corner. In the 8th match minute, Club Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Quinteros to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 11 minutes, Saverio Louis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AZURDUY F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Louis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Generoso Bemabe came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Almirante Brown's Aristides Rayman. But to his dismay, Aristides Rayman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 27th minute Tomás Pasqual shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Bemabe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to AZURDUY F.C. getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Cirilo Martinez hit a great ball. Tomás Etxepare was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Cipriano Chuan sped through Club Almirante Brown's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aldo Colon. In the 39th match minute, Club Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Arixo to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes AZURDUY F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Louis. After a rather tough play, Club Almirante Brown's Gualterio Shepherd got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Pasqual was the one to do the kick off. When Primitivo Domenec fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AZURDUY F.C.'s protests and gave Primitivo Domenec a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes AZURDUY F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Domenec. 56 minutes into the match, Club Almirante Brown's Americo Duardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Generoso Bemabe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Generoso Bemabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Pasqual in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of AZURDUY F.C. booed when Club Almirante Brown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Quinteros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes Club Almirante Brown got a freekick which was hit by Federico Quinteros. In the 62nd minute Arnoldo Curcio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Almirante Brown's Erubiel Laurentzi was substituted for Americo Duardo. Club Almirante Brown's Severo Fernendo was substituted for Remigio Arixo. In the 71st match minute, Club Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Abascal to maneuver through the defense. Generoso Bemabe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. AZURDUY F.C.'s Generoso Bemabe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save AZURDUY F.C. from getting a goal against them. Generoso Bemabe was a little too slow when Erubiel Laurentzi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 1-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Almirante Brown walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
