The Aves Negras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciriaco Calvino should have stopped the shot. The supporters of ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ booed when Aves Negras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Koldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Corderall took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciriaco Calvino. Ciriaco Calvino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 17th match minute, Aves Negras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Abaurre to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Porfiro in the 18th minute of the match. Nemesio Porfiro's late challenge caught a Aves Negras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nemesio Porfiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫ got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Porfiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Corderall in the 23rd minute of play forced Aves Negras's goalkeeper Ciriaco Calvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Rios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pocho Lavezzi in the 27th minute of the match. Gonzalo Montiel hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivan Henrico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Ivan Henrico tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ciriaco Calvino saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Aves Negras's Ciriaco Calvino got control of the ball when Arnaldo Corderall tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aves Negras's Ciriaco Calvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Corderall in the 57th minute of play. Inocencio Laurgain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Ciriaco Calvino made a huge save. Aves Negras's Ciriaco Calvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Henrico in the 74th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Aves Negras's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Corderall came free, but Ciriaco Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
