Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Prospero Rubio started the match with the kick off. Filomeno Pios short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Marcial Dantae to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alvaro Ermano charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Ermano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Alvaro Ermano got a free kick in the 5th minute. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Conrado Ubarna hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Zé Vo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amboy FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Vo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Dantae breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Fero in the 14th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Severiano Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Enekoitz to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Lisandro Argi got a free kick in the 18th minute. Amboy FC's Zé Vo got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Prospero Rubio fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermo's protests and gave Prospero Rubio a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Rubio. A collision led to Amboy FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Filomeno Pio hit a great ball. Severiano Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Ioritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 played minutes Amboy FC got a freekick which was hit by Jani La Marca. The supporters of Amboy FC booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Gaufred didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcial Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Pio in the 36th minute of play. Marcial Dantae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Bento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Vo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Prospero Rubio had several of the Amboy FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 58 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Severiano Santo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Marcial Dantae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Vo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Conrado Ubarna fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The supporters of Amboy FC booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Rexino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcial Dantae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Pio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lisandro Argi kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Zé Vo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcial Dantae. Palermo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcial Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Pio in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Nicanor Gaufred hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Vo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Palermo defense, Filomeno Pio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Dantae. The Palermo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Dantae should have stopped the shot. Marcial Dantae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Javiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 96th minute, Dionisio Oton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Palermo's zone, Zé Vo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Dantae came out of the goal and Zé Vo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
