In the 14th minute Eusebio Gorosti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Umbruso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Estación Q.'s Blas Umbruso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Lizzio in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Estación Q. getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Sergio Shantala hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the game, Eusebio Gorosti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Blas Umbruso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusebio Gorosti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florencio Acevedo's late challenge caught a Cable a Tierra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florencio Acevedo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Estación Q. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Florencio Acevedo hit a great ball. Armando Chago hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Eusebio Gorosti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Blas Umbruso came out and tried to block the shot, but Eusebio Gorosti slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 56th minute. After 58 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Lucila. 59 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Lobo came free, but Apolo Quilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 61 minutes on the clock, Armando Chago commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Estación Q.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cable a Tierra:s goal. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Cable a Tierra. Hugo Oier stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Blas Umbruso. 0-5. Estación Q. made a substitution. Remigio Ostadar replaced Eduardo Calvet. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hilario Lobo during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hilario Lobo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Cable a Tierra made a substitution. Baltasar Gaitan replaced Pablo Lizzio. After a rather tough play, Estación Q.'s Hilario Lobo got a free kick in the 68th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Cable a Tierra's Baltasar Gaitan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Blas Umbruso. That made the score 0-8 after 92 minutes of play. With a little luck, Estación Q.'s Blas Umbruso got control of the ball when Eleuterio Ekain tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 99th minute, Cable a Tierra's Baltasar Gaitan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. The Estación Q. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cable a Tierra were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
