With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Basaik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ale Glowacz made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Damazy Joks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Jan Basaik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ale Glowacz in the 55th minute of play forced KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Tolek Czeberowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by KS Olimpia Warszawa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
