The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Konstanty Wawro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute of the match KS Olimpia Warszawa got a corner. Rega Merida CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rafal Trzenzalski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Filcho Dzhagarov kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on KS Olimpia Warszawa's corner Rafal Trzenzalski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Konstanty Wawro quite easily take care of the ball. Fabiano Carneiro hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Konstanty Wawro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Joks, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Walery Glapiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstanty Wawro having to interfere. Rega Merida CF's Konstanty Wawro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Joks in the 33rd minute of play. Rega Merida CF's Konstanty Wawro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Rega Merida CF from getting a goal against them. With his leg Konstanty Wawro managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when KS Olimpia Warszawa's Damazy Joks fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 43rd minute, Zhu Cheng Guo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rega Merida CF's Cemal Palabıyık got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Nistor Sârban made the kick off in the second half. If Wasyl Dziurowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Rega Merida CF's Ryan Gravenhorst got a free kick in the 56th minute. Damazy Joks struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Konstanty Wawro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Olimpia Warszawa. Lech Matela hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Rega Merida CF made a substitution. Leonello Messias replaced Cemal Palabıyık. After 72 played minutes Rega Merida CF got a freekick which was hit by Lech Matela. Rega Merida CF's attentive Kajetan Winograd managed to snatch the ball when Emilio Sesse made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. Nistor Sârban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Tolek Czeberowski made a huge save. In the 82ndth minute of the game Damazy Joks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rega Merida CF's Konstanty Wawro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 85 minutes Rega Merida CF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rafal Trzenzalski who took care of the corner kick. Rafal Trzenzalski made a great header on KS Olimpia Warszawa's corner, it was just that Rega Merida CF's Konstanty Wawro managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, KS Olimpia Warszawa's Tolek Czeberowski got control of the ball when Nistor Sârban tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Sharma Sharma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Olimpia Warszawa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.
