Fabian Czeszejko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastião Xoxe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Fabian Czeszejko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olimpia HSB's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Czeszejko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastião Xoxe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norbert Major took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladan Kovačević. Vladan Kovačević dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastião Xoxe. That made the score 2-1 after 30 minutes of play. Fabian Czeszejko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35th minute, Fabian Czeszejko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sebastião Xoxe. The goal made the score 3-1. In the 38th minute, Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sebastião Xoxe. Sebastião Xoxe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Sebastião Xoxe was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabian Czeszejko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-1 in the 42 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norbert Major to make the kick off. Anselmo Doris kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Sebastião Xoxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Czeszejko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
