With a little luck, FlashField Bielsko-Biała's Karol Ciempa got control of the ball when Fabian Czeszejko tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, FlashField Bielsko-Biała's goal looked a bit too open when Nikola Mirotić came free, but Karol Ciempa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Cortez in the 38th minute of play forced Olimpia HSB's goalkeeper Vladan Kovačević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Czeszejko took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karol Ciempa. Karol Ciempa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabian Czeszejko to make the kick off. There was no doubt that Olimpia HSB were the better team. Olimpia HSB's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
